When we started working on Ausicare, the vision was to replace the many apps and visits people juggle for their healthcare. That meant solving several problems at once:

• Users needed one place to order medicines, book tests and consult doctors, without getting lost in a long list of services.
• Many users don't know which service they need, only how they feel.
• Prescription medicines required a secure, repeatable prescription workflow.
• Healthcare is a family responsibility, so bookings and records had to work for multiple people and addresses.

The real challenge was:

How do we bring an entire healthcare ecosystem into one app that still feels simple to use?

We designed Ausicare around clear entry points, guided discovery and family-first care.

1. A Homepage That Guides Users to Care

The homepage is the central hub, with prime calls to action for ordering medicines, booking lab tests and consulting doctors. For users unsure of what they need, symptom-based browsing points them to the right services.

2. Medicines and Prescriptions

Users explore medicines by ailment, brand or generic alternative, and see interactions and substitutes. Prescriptions can be uploaded once and reused for future orders, so reordering takes seconds.

3. Doctor Search and Consultations

Users find doctors by specialty, location, experience and reviews, filter by online availability, and consult over chat, audio or video, whichever suits them.

4. Family Profiles

One account manages profiles for the whole family, including medical history, allergies and multiple delivery addresses, so care can be booked for anyone in a few taps.

5. Diagnostics and Home Healthcare

Users book diagnostic tests individually or as packages, choose their preferred slot and get reminders. Nursing, physiotherapy and lab collection can be booked at home, which is especially valuable for elderly and less mobile patients.

6. Hospital Packages and Wellness Programs

Hospital packages and wellness programs come with detailed information, date and slot selection, and in-app booking, promoting preventive care alongside treatment.

7. A Streamlined Pharmacy Checkout

Products can be filtered by category, brand and price. The cart supports coupons, delivery options and a clear payment breakdown, with checkout via cards, UPI, wallets or cash on delivery and real-time order tracking afterwards.
