VidCo is a hyperlocal marketplace that brings neighbourhood shops online through short, shoppable videos. Kirana stores, boutiques, restaurants, salons and local creators can set up a storefront, post reels with their products tagged, and take orders from customers nearby, all from their phone. We designed and built the complete ecosystem: a merchant app for shop owners and their staff, a rider app for delivery partners, a customer web storefront, an admin control centre and the backend that connects them. The platform supports English, Hindi and Gujarati, and is built for Indian cities, starting with Gujarat.

Local shops are the backbone of Indian retail, but most of them are invisible online. When we started working on VidCo, the challenges were clear:
The core challenge for us was:
How do we give every neighbourhood shop a video-first online storefront, with orders, payments and delivery, that is simple enough to run from a phone?
We approached VidCo as a connector between local shops, nearby customers and delivery partners: each shop keeps control of its own store, and the platform handles discovery, payments, delivery and compliance around it.
We made video the heart of every store:
Every reel becomes a direct path from watching to buying.

We built a catalogue that adapts to the shop instead of forcing every shop into one template:

The merchant dashboard puts what needs attention first:

On the customer side, we made the neighbourhood the starting point:

For shops that need delivery, we built a dispatch system and a dedicated rider app:

We took the paperwork off the merchant's plate:

To help shops grow, and to help the VidCo team run the marketplace:

Every feature was designed to make selling locally as simple as posting a video.
VidCo has been built as a platform where local shops can sell through video while the platform takes care of the heavy lifting.
Other products we've designed, built and shipped for startups and growing businesses.
